STATE CAPITOL, PHOENIX – State Representative Quang Nguyen will welcome the sailors of PCU Arizona to the Arizona House of Representatives on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at 1:15 p.m. The crew will be introduced on the House floor and honored with a proclamation recognizing their service and the legacy of the USS Arizona.

“The crew of PCU Arizona carries a name that means a great deal to our state and commands respect across this country,” said Representative Quang Nguyen. “These sailors stand watch in silence, operate under immense pressure, and defend this country with discipline, courage, and grit. As the father of a daughter serving aboard a Navy submarine, I know this duty demands sacrifice from both sailors and their families alike. Arizona is proud to welcome this crew to the people’s House and pay tribute to their service to our nation.”

The event will take place at the Arizona House of Representatives, 1700 W. Washington St., Phoenix, AZ 85007. Members of the public are invited to attend and observe from the House Gallery. A livestream will also be available at www.azleg.gov/liveproceedings.
