STATE CAPITOL, PHOENIX – After Wednesday’s meeting of the House Ad Hoc Committee on Election Integrity and Florida-Style Voting Systems, Chairman Alexander Kolodin issued the following statement:

“Our hearing was an important step toward making Arizona’s elections are secure, efficient, and trustworthy. I am grateful to everyone who participated and shared their insights, particularly new Maricopa County Recorder Justin Heap, whose input will help strengthen the electoral process for our state.

“I want to thank Speaker Steve Montenegro for entrusting me with the stewardship of this very important committee and making it a key part of the House Majority Plan. I am proud to support this effort and remain focused on delivering real results for Arizona voters.”
