Arizona is where freedom lives, a place where the independent spirit of the western frontier meets innovation. Here prosperity will flourish and the American Dream will remain achievable for all, but runaway regulations and unchecked executive authority are putting this dream at risk. We will reduce taxes when possible, cut regulations, make home ownership affordable, and ban foreign adversaries hostile to our interests.
Arizona will continue leading the nation in putting kids and families first in education. The State of Arizona has an obligation to fund the K-12 education of every student as directed by his or her parents. Student achievement is the ultimate goal, not bureaucratic processes. Arizonans strongly support school choice. We will protect education freedom, fund students not systems, shift spending from the bureaucracy to the classroom, take politics out of our classrooms, and increase transparency in public education for parents, students, and taxpayers alike.
Border security is community safety. We will ensure that our law enforcement agencies have the resources they need to protect Arizonans and that no arm of government obstructs efforts to arrest and deport illegal aliens, especially drug and human traffickers. Arizonans want an end to fentanyl poisonings and sex trafficking. They want to see high-speed pursuits of cars carrying drugs and illegal aliens end. We stand for the rule of law and our work in the Arizona House will reflect that principle.
Arizona voters deserve elections that are free, fair, and transparent. It shouldn’t take weeks to count ballots. We will protect the integrity of Arizona elections from anyone who chooses to tamper with them, and we will ensure that ballots are counted faster and results are known sooner.
Governments derive their power from the people, not the other way around. We will seek out and eliminate waste, fraud, and abuse in government agencies and programs, cut government red tape, and eliminate unnecessary government spending when possible. We work for the people.
Arizona believes in the dignity of work and self-sufficiency. Social safety net programs must foster that sense of dignity and help put people back on their feet, reducing long-term dependence on other taxpayers for financial needs. A job is more than income, it’s a sense of independence, personal responsibility, self-worth, and above all hope in the future. Under our leadership we will focus Arizona’s welfare and unemployment programs on empowering people to enter the workforce and start a new chapter of opportunity in their life.
